I have been teaching college students, lawyers and real estate professionals for 40 years. I am able to draw on my experience as a practicing attorney landlord, land developer and property owner to understand what students want to learn and how best to take complicated subjects and make them seem simple with real life examples. it is also important in all legally oriented education for students to understand the limits of their own position and to make sure consumers get legal advice before taking positions that compromise legal rights.

My classes regularly get the highest marks from student evaluations because they are meaningful, to the point and fun. Many students say they will only take courses from me and come back year after year. I am able to take classes that sound like boredom at the highest level – contracts, fair housing and antitrust but make the subject relevant to today’s real estate environment.

For sessions that offer continuing education credit (CE), it is the participant’s responsibility to adhere to all requirements to prove attendance and participation in the session necessary to obtain CE.  If you are unable to attend a CE course for which you have registered, you must notify Diane Denham at the KAR office via email at diane@kansasrealtor.com prior to the start of the CE course.  With prior notification you may transfer your registration to a future online CE course.  Without prior notification you will not be able to transfer your CE course registration.  Refunds are not available for participant cancellation, inability to attend, or inability to meet the stated requirements to obtain CE.
